AYL 2024 GIRLS LACROSSE SPRING SCHEDULE

Full Schedule is now live for 2024 - Please note that if you see a game that is occurring in the month of June it is only a holding date and will be rescheduled by your club delegate by April 20th.

The Arapahoe Youth League is the Premier Youth Sports Organization in the central region of Colorado and has offered competitive league play in multiple sports for over 40 years. We focus on all levels of ability from grades K-8th. 

We focus on each of the individual communities to grow the game of lacrosse. 

The AYL is excited to welcome Girls Lacrosse to our family of sports in its inaugural season- Spring 2020!

$35 per game regular season, possibly work playoff games for $50/game!
2-6 games on Saturdays, every Saturday March 9th – May 19th

New Official’s Training


Sunday 2/25 


Due to the volume of people we have moved the training to Ball Arena. 

Sunday 2/25 - Note you will get this info in more detail when you RSVP below. 

Location: Ball Arena | 1000 Chopper Circle, Denver CO 80204
Parking: Free Camry Lot (See Directions)
Entrance: Main Entrance, far left doors
Meeting Location: Club Level, Continental Divide Room
Time: 8;30 AM – 1:00PM
Girls Training:  9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Check-in will begin at 8:30 am.

outside for on-field demonstrations and education, please dress

Returning Officials:

Training will be on 2/27/24 at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

New Officials Checklist


Pay $25 for the AYL training course online HERE 
Join USA Lacrosse as an OFFICIAL (You can also include being a player; if you need help adding both memberships to your account you may need to contact USAL lacrosse at 410-235-6882 ext 102)


Complete the Online Girls Youth lacrosse training course (see directions below) and bring a copy of the completion certificate.
Attend Class 2/25/24 @ Cherry Creek
Complete USAL Youth Girls Rules Exam after Classroom Training
Complete on field training requirements after Classroom Training –

  •  March 2-3 King of the Rock
  • Additional days may be added

 More details will be distributed and specific game times assigned after classroom training.

Officials who do not complete on-field training in the pre-season will have to shadow experienced officials for at least 2gms (un-paid) during the early regular season before they can be assigned to work paid games as a First Year AYL Official.

 

Packing List for 2/25/2024

  • Printouts or screenshots of your completed online training
  • Rulebook Pen/Pencil Notepad
  • Lunch, snacks, water
  • Appropriate attire for indoor classroom session & outdoor training
  • Complete the 2024 Girls Youth Rule Course & Test, and High School Test
  • BEFORE ATTENDING TRAINING 2/25: complete the online Girls Youth lacrosse training course
    • Under the officials tab, select online courses. At this point, you may be asked to log in to your US Lacrosse membership
    • Click on the Catalog button in the middle of the page
    • Under Catalog, select the Officiating Courses tab.
    • Select Option 1: Women’s Game Officiating Courses
    • Select Option 1 under Women’s Game Officiating Courses: Women’s Officials - Rules Certification Online Course
    • Click on: Girls Lacrosse Rules Online Course
    •  Add the course to your cart, and proceed to checkout (this course is free with US Lacrosse membership)
    • After you have completed the course purchase, go into your courses and click "Launch"
    • Complete the course in order to receive your certificate.
    • Please print off your certificate of completion and bring a copy/screenshot to training

 

AFTER ATTENDING TRAINING 

  • Complete 2024 Girls Youth Rule Test and High School Rule Test
  • Under the officials tab, select Rules Exams. At this point, you may be asked to log in to your US Lacrosse membership
  • Click on the red Access Exams button on the page.
  • Click on the Catalog button
  • Select option: Officiating Courses
  • Select Option 3: Annual Officiating Rules Exams
  • Add the 2024 NFHS Girls Lacrosse Rules Exam to your cart. (blue shopping cart button on the right-hand side)
  • Reminder that both of these courses are free as a US Lacrosse member. Proceed to checkout and confirm purchase.
  • After you have completed the course purchase, click on the start browsing button and you will return to My Courses
  • Click on launch next to each test and complete the tests. (it is suggested to complete the test on paper and go back in to fill the answers online after)
